Heat Wave Watch

Today is the peak of the heat wave. Temperatures are forecasted to be a couple degrees above yesterday’s highs. The good news is the heat will decrease tomorrow and into the weekend, though conditions will remain above average for this time of year.

Coastal areas are muggy with temperatures in the 80s. It's drier inland with temperatures in the 90s in the mesas and I-15 corridor, and in the 100s in the inland valleys and foothills. The lower deserts could see temperatures in excess of 120 degrees.
